The Greek Golden Visa (Greek Investor Visa) is given to any individual who purchases real estate properties in Greece of a total value of 500,000 EURO or more. This means that a person can purchase only one property that is worth 500,000 EURO or more or many properties with an added value of 500,000 EURO οr more.
The Golden Visa is valid for five years and it can be renewed.
The person who acquires the Greek Golden Visa has the right to:

1. Continuously stay in Greece during the validity period of the residence permit.
2. Travel to other countries - members of the Schengen zone for up to three months every six months.
3. Have access to health and education services, the same that Greek citizens have.
4. Travel freely from/to Greece until its expiration date.

CAUTION: the person is not allowed to use the Golden Visa to travel to a country outside the Schengen zone. This means that he/she has to choose flights that directly connect Greece to other countries, without correspondence to a country outside the Schengen zone. In order to travel to a country outside the Schengen zone the person must apply for this particular country's visa.
